Stamping!

Hello :)

After I wore the gorgeous princess bubblegum for a couple of days I felt the need to have a play and see what I could come up with. I decided to do some more stamping, heres the results!

I know these are far from perfect but I do love the overall look. Princess Bubblegum wore so well that I actually had this mani on for two weeks without it chipping! I took it off cos I was bored of it in the end.

Stamping again!

Hi :)

Every now and then my cousin asks me to do her nails, I love doing them! She has the long and beautiful nails they are a pleasure to paint, plus she's pretty easy going and lets me do whatever I'm feeling. This time she couldn't make her mind up on colours and jokingly said "paint each finger a different colour if you want" so thats exactly what I did!

Originally I wanted to put a white floral design over the base colours but my mum suggested this pattern in black. Don't ever tell her I said this .... but I think she was right I loved the way they turned out and more importantly so did my cousin :)!

I Love Those Baby Blues

Hey :)

I have got a few photos to show you of a gel manicure I did on my own nails this time. The polish is called I Love Those Baby Blues and is by Red Carpet Manicure. This colour was quite sheer and took three coats to reach opacity, meaning the nails were quite thick. Allthough they were thick they weren't much thicker than nail polish with nail art and a couple of coats of seche vite.

Onto the pics:

I had this set of nails on for a week untill I got bored of them, they lasted really well with no chips and minimal grow out! I am really enjoying doing these gel nail sets so deffinately keep an eye out for more to come!

Jindie Nails Princess Bubblegum

Hello :-)

Today I have got some swatches of the gorgeous princess bubblegum by Jindie Nails. Princess Bubblegum is a creamy lilac polish with pink, purple and blue glitter mixed in.

It applied really nicely and this is 3 coats with a coat of seche vite over the top. Next time I use this polish I think I will start with a lilac cream underneath so that I don't use as much of this gorgeous polish! Im in love with this polish!

I also bought candy land remix and Megapixels both by Jindie Nails. I ordered them from Llarowe who's postage to the UK was very reasonable and they arrived within two weeks.

Gel Nails

Hey :)

A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend bought me the Red Carpet Manicure Pro Kit. So ever since then I have been practicing my gel nails on any willing family member!

First up we have my first set on my Mum wearing Red Carpet Reddy

Next up is my Auntie Sue wearing a plain french mani.

These were my first two attempts at gel nails and I'm really proud! My Auntie has even bought me a new polish so she can have them done again when she goes on holiday :D. Ive since done another set on me and one on my mum, keep your eyes peeled for those pics coming up!

Half Moon Gradient

Hiya :)

Todays post is nails that have appeared on lots of different blogs so I'm not sure where they started, if anyone knows let me know so I can credit them :). I quite like half moons and absolutely love gradients so today I thought I would combine them!

I used bare bones by revlon and ultra violet by rimmel.

Here goes :

For a first attempt I don't think they are too bad, I'm deffinately going to work on my gradients. I think next time I'm going to try the process of putting both of the colours on the sponge, here I just sponged the purple on. i do quite like them though :)

The Crumpets Nail Art Challenge

Hello :)

Todays mani is one that I am entering into The Crumpets March nail art challenge. The theme for this challenge was blue. I really couldn't decide what I wanted to do so I took my inspiration from Debbies blog. She calls herself a splodger so splodging is what I did!

I give you my splodged blue leopard print mani

I do think Debbie is deffinately the splodge queen think I could have done better here, oh well next time I suppose!

Glitter Gradient

Hey :)

I thought today I would show you my first attempt at a glitter gradient. I really like the look of glitter gradients so I really do want to master it!

This mani is a base of W7 dance and the glitter is a color club polish that has no name (its from a set from TK Maxx) for the gradient

I loved this mani when I did it, I got so many compliments including from a woman at illamasqua :D. I do think the gradient can be improved on but for a first attempt I was really pleased :D

Stamping success!

Hello :)

After I felt my last stamping attempt here didn't go too well, I had to try it again. This time I started with a base of Nails Inc Porchester Square (which is beautiful on its own!) and then I stamped using the cheeky vibrant set and Essie Penny Talk. Unfortunately I only took one picture :(.

I absolutely loved the way this mani turned out, so much so that I left it on untill near enough every nail had chipped! Deffinately one I'm going to be doing again!

Aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars ...

Hello :)

Ive got a simple mani today that Ive previously shown on a nail wheel, I loved it on there so thought I would do it as a full mani. If you haven't guessed by the title todays mani is a shooting star (I couldn't stop singing BOB's song aeroplanes whilst doing this mani!). This mani was so easy to do and I love it :)

In this mani I used (from left to right) Barry M foil effects silver, Nails Inc Motcomb Street and China Glaze Fairy Dust

Fairy dust is a must have for any nail polish enthusiast, its a gorgeous holographic glitter topcoat!

Heres the mani:

The reflective from my cameras flash made my star look wonky :(. I promise it wasn't, I would admit it if it was :P.

Thats all for today, I do like this mani so much, shame the pictures don't do it justice :(. Oh well guess I will have to do it again :D.

Practice on Nail Wheels

Hey :)

Thought I would show you what I've been working on to try and practice my nail art skills. These are some of the nail wheels I have done.

This one has my shooting star practice, keep your eyes peeled for a full mani of this ;).

Theres some designs I'm really proud of on these wheels and some that I'm not so proud of, I will let you decide which is which :P. Hopefully these will be turned into full manis, just watch this space.

Gelly Nail Art!

Hello :)

Today I have got some nail art I created using 2 more of the new Barry M gellys. I purchased Lychee and Dragon Fruit last week and I thought instead of doing plain swatches that Ive been doing a lot of lately I would combine the two and create some nail art :).

I couldn't decide what nail art I wanted to do with them so I thought I would combine everything and create a skittle mani :D

I've even taken pictures of my right hand!

Allthough these nails are far from perfect I absolutely love them! Normally I schedule my posts so that something is put up if I'm busy but I didn't want to wait to show you this, I only finished these nails about an hour ago :).

The more I use the gellys the more I like them, I'm deffinately going to aim to buy the whole collection!
